Hajanga Records, Interscope, and Early Hour Entertainment tapped Paladin Creative to create a vibrant and chromatically-rich guest experience for the album release of “DJESSE: Vol. 4”, by Grammy award-winning artist, Jacob Collier. With only 3 short weeks to put things into motion, we set out to build an eclectic, colorful, and highly immersive Jacobian wonderland. The concept - from beginning to end - was always, “bring Jacob’s mind into the real world and give guests a way to exist alongside him”.

One of our first challenges to overcome was…how do we translate this man’s mind from symphonic experience to live event? We knew that colors, shapes, and a sense of playfulness would be key to mapping the Jacobian experience. We ended up building 11 distinctive zones, across 14 partitioned spaces, almost like the beats of a story.
Guests were treated to a rainbow light entry tunnel, a Crocs Shoe Valet, a Gong-throwing game, music video scenic recreations, a Dolby Atmos x Lucid vehicle listening experience, and an intimate performance by Jacob, Tori Kelly, Lawrence, and Brandi Carlile to cap off the night.
We were even gifted with a super special shoutout at the end of the night:
